Step 2 Day 2

Today I continued to have stomach pains, but not as bad as yesterday. I woke up with a few red bumps on my face, but I am hoping that they go away.

Let me say one thing... I am very tingly and have a burning feeling down below. I do not like this nasty feeling at all. I am hoping that Resolve is activating this virus and my immune system is killing it. hmmmmm

Work was extremely stressful today, so I am going to take a steamy hot bubble bath and drink an ice cold beer. I hope tomorrow is better at work because I do not feel good on Step 2 thus far.

Step 2 Day 1

Let me first state that my day off yesterday was not so good. I think I was going through withdrawals from being on Resolve for 25 days. I felt so sick all day.

Anyway, today was horrible as well. After my first two doses, and pretty much all day, my stomach had really bad pains. I ate full meals and have been drinking a lot of water. I also felt like someone kicked me in my back. I think the dose may be to strong for me, since I do not weigh much. I wonder if the doses should be based off your weight. I am going to deal with the pain for 7 days because I want to be cured so bad.

Today someone on the Hub tested NEGATIVE for HSV2 after taking Resolve. This is great news!!! I am going to test on January 21st, the day after I finish Resolve. I just plan on testing to see where my numbers are, and will test again 90 days post Resolve.

Anyway, I am about to take dose 3 and chase it with an ice cold Grolsch...

Day Of Rest

After completing Step 1, today is my day of rest. I begin Step 2 tomorrow.

I am going grocery shopping today so that I have food to eat after each dose. Since being single, I do not cook, so this step is going to be interesting to me. I usually eat a muffin or something for breakfast and then a big late lunch. I was told that I have to eat a nice size meal with each dose, so I need to plan a meal for each dose. hmmmmm

I am trying to not let HSV define me. I am trying to continue the things that I have done since finding out that I have HSV (besides sex of course). I always went out on dates and did whatever I wanted, so I am trying to continue that. It is rather difficult when you are in the heat of the moment, but I have been doing really well not putting myself in the situation that will allow something to happen. I have some impatient girls, in regards to me saying no to having sex with them, so I am hoping that this works. Anyway, I have another date later today, so I will make sure to keep it out in the open and not back at my Condo... =)

I am going to finish my coffee and get ready to begin my day.

I will post another update tomorrow.

Step 1 Day 25

How does that sound... Day 25? I made it through Step 1 with only the Chicken Pox. j/k

Step 1 was not so bad, it was the breakouts that REALLY bothered me. I am still broken out on Day 25, but my face is not to bad. We will see what happens when I start Step 2.

Tomorrow I have a day off, so I will enjoy a few beers and watch the Eagles play the Cowboys in a game we MUST win. GO E-A-G-L-E-S!!!

Monday I start Step 2 and heard that it is really hard on your stomach. I will do more research before starting Step 2... like what juice I should take with it and if I need to take it on a full stomach, or if a Cliff bar is enough to eat with it.

I am not certain if I mentioned it, but I never really get OB's, I just get a minor tingle down below right before and after my cycle. Since taking Resolve, I have not had any tingling down below, besides for the times when I... LOL n/m

Anyway, what was I saying... Oh yeah, well 3 days ago I started getting the tingly feeling down below. That really bothered me, and I am starting to be a little more skeptical whether this is going to work for me or not. I have been maintaining a positive belief in regards to Resolve, but that really made me take a step back. I know it is really early, but it was not expected.

I could see randomly having the tingly down below while taking Resolve, but when I ONLY had the tingly before and after my period before taking Resolve, and then while taking Resolve it occurs the same as before... well that kind of raised an eyebrow.

In conclusion, my symptoms while on Step 1 were:

1. Facial, scalp, chest, and back breakouts (looks like the Chicken Pox)
2. Bloated
3. Tingly down below before my cycle started
4. Runny nose (this exists even on Day 25, but not nearly as bad as the first 2 weeks)

I believe those were the main symptoms, but you can look through previous posts for others.

That is it for Step 1 on Resolve. I am going to get some rest before I head to the club tonight... wish me luck on Step 2 AKA "The Stomach Pain Step"

Step 1 Day 23

Well my "monthly friend" is a week late, and I assume it is late because of Resolve. Well shit, let me say that it is because of Resolve because there is no way in hell that I could get pregnant. LOL

Prior to Resolve, I would get a little tingly down below before and after my period. Today I started to feel a slight tingle, and I am not really happy about that. It never gets worse, just a slight tingle down below. I was hoping it would not do that before my period this month, but I guess I was wrong. We will see if it remains slight or if Resolve causes it to be full blown. I never had a real outbreak since diagnosed with HSV2, so I am curious what will happen this month.

Other than the tingly down below, which let me state it is very faint, nothing new to report. As of today the symptoms that I have are:

1. Slight tingle down below
2. Runny Nose
3. Bloated
4. Facial, neck, back, and chest breakouts

Tomorrow I am heading back home to ATL, so I will enjoy my 12 hour drive with my dog. =(

Step 1 Day 22

Today around 8:30pm EST, I felt really sick. My head started to hurt and I felt like I had a fever. I laid down, and after 2 hours I felt a lot better. Not sure if that was Resolve related, but it was right after I took my 3rd dose of 15mls.

I do want to give a tip to anyone who may be considering Resolve... DRINK A LOT OF WATER. I think a lot of my nauseousness and headaches that I have experienced throughout Step 1 may have been related to not drinking enough water. For example, when I felt sick tonight, I drank 2 bottles of water and I laid down. I think the water is what helped.

I have been drinking a lot of water since I have been taking Resolve, but sometimes it doesn't seem like enough. The bad thing is that I have to keep going to the restroom to pee, and that can be a pain when your not at home. Anyway, be prepared to drink a lot of water.

Nothing else to report today, no tingly or anything going on down below... Happy Holidays!!!

This is exactly how I feel while on Step 1:
