I Am Officially Herpes Free!!!!

I just received a call from my Gyno with wonderful news... my Western Blot test came back Negative!!!!

I feel so sick and emotional right now. I am at work trying to hold it all in, but I feel like I am going to explode any moment now. I can finally move on with my life!!!

My Gyno said that the other doctors have to sign off on the results before I can pick them up, but once they are available for pickup, I will scan them and post them on my Blog.

For those who have been following my Blog, I will continue to update it, but not as often. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to email me.

I still have the nerve damage, and hope that it does not take over a year to go away. I say over a year because someone told me that sometimes it can take over a year for the nerve and tissue to heal.

I tested Negative on all three Herpes test... I need a hug!!!

Still Waiting...

I have not heard from my Gyno about my Western Blot test results. The University of Washington, who does the actual test, only does them a few days out of the week. I should have my results back any day. I called my Gyno to follow up on my results this evening, we shall see.

I really wish that I did not take the Western Blot now. I am so afraid of what the results will be. I am so happy to test Negative on the standard IgG test, that I am not sure what I would do if the Western Blot comes back Positive. I'm guessing that I would take another IgG and if that is Negative, again, I will move on with my life. That is the so called "Gold Standard" FDA Approved test.

I have been so moody the past two days. I have so much stress right now waiting for my results. I cannot believe that it takes this long to get my results back. I just want to move on with my life.

I will post the moment that I receive the call with my results... please pray for me. I want my 3rd and final test to be another Negative.

An Email to the Girl Who Infected Me...

Today I decided to email the girl who "infected" me with HSV2 to let her know about Resolve and how it cured me. I still have a lot of anger towards her, and always told myself that I wanted nothing to do with her. Now that I am cured, I decided to let her know about Resolve in hopes of her curing herself.

She emailed me back claiming that she never had HSV. She originally admitted to me that she had HPV, which gave her cervical cancer, and informed me that her HPV is now gone. I never knew that you could cure HPV? I think she is still in denial.

Anyway, I just wanted to dig deep within my heart to let her know that their is hope out there. She can remain in denial and spread it on to others, but it does feel good to know that I reached out to her, and for the fact that... I AM CURED!!!

Off to begin my first weekend, free... of that horrible virus!!!

Copy of My Negative PCR and IgG Test Results

I scanned these this evening... and of course blacked out my personal info.

PCR Result:

IgG Result:

Here is a print screen from tstd.org of my Positive IgG test that I took in January 2009:

Clarification on Taking Vitamins

Someone in the Hub asked me if I took the vitamins that I suggested during my Resolve treatment. To be clear, I only took the vitamins, Immune Builder, and Pro Biotic during my 90 days Post Resolve. Here is what I pulled from Resolve's website:

You must NOT have any vitamin C when you take the mineral detox at lease 45 minutes before or after you take the mineral dose. If you mix it with juice rather than water, then make sure the juice does not have any natural or added vitamin C. Check the label, though, to make sure the juice manufacturer did not add vitamin C.

Tons of Questions Coming In...

Before I begin to answer any questions, I want to post that I picked up my test results this afternoon and will scan them later tonight. Look for my test results later this evening. I am still waiting on my Western Blot result.

I have received numerous emails containing questions that people have, so here is my attempt at answering them. Please note that I am not a doctor, nor do I work for Resolve. I am giving "My Opinion" on Resolve and Herpes.

OK, here it goes:

1. In your last post, you said that Resolve works best on people who have been infected for shorter periods of time. I was wondering how you know this, since I'm now thinking Resolve won't work for me since I've been infected for a long time. Did the Resolve people tell you this or do you know someone with an old infection that tried Resolve without good results?

I guess I should have been more clear in what I stated in my last post. Please remember that I am not a doctor, nor do I work for Resolve. For those who do not know, there is a Herpes Hub http://hubpages.com/hub/Herpes_Cure where you can meet other Herpes Sufferers who not only have taken Resolve, but have taken other approaches to curing themselves. My statement was based off other people that I met from the Hub. It "seems" as though the people who are cured on the first try have not had Herpes long. In my opinion, I think that Resolve can cure people who have had Herpes for a longer period, but I think that it takes more than one treatment.

Some people on the Hub who had Herpes for a longer period have taken additional doses of Resolve, which Resolve calls Booster treatments. Some people completed the Booster and have still tested Positive.

I also think that Resolve works best on someone with a strong immune system. In order to fight the virus, you must have a strong immune system. I also believe that some people need a stronger dose of Resolve, or to take it for a longer period of time. I think that this is based off your weight and how long you have had Herpes.

Again, this is just my personal opinion. I do think that Resolve will work for people who have had it for a long period, but I think it may take them longer to be cured. I know that Resolve has altered their formula, so perhaps that is what is needed for those long term sufferers.

I will also add that if you test Positive after waiting your 90 days post Resolve, Resolve will work with you until you test Negative. Some people chose to continue on with Resolve after testing Positive, and some believe that Resolve will not work for them and chose to not take any additional doses. I know a few people who took additional doses and still tested Positive. I just want to be honest here, but do your own research. Who knows if those people reinfected themselves or did not take Resolve properly.

2. Did you take the first kit of Resolve with 3 steps or 2
steps?

I took the first kit, which consisted of 3 Steps. I heard that the new 2 step process is stronger and will have better results... again, this is just speculation.

3. What did you eat and drink while taking Resolve?

I eat pretty healthy, even before Resolve. I primarily shop at Whole Foods. I do eat a lot of sweets, and did so while on Resolve. I also continued drinking beer while on Resolve. Often I would get so depressed that I would chase my Resolve dose with a Beer. LOL As I stated in a previous post, I did do a two week no sugar, and no coffee diet. If you could cut sugar and coffee out of your diet the entire Resolve process, I think that would be extremely beneficial.

4. How long did you have HSV2 before you started Resolve?

I believe that I was infected with HSV2 in June 2008, and started Resolve in December 2008.

5. How much did you weigh while on Resolve?

I weigh around 112lbs.

6. Did you have any symptoms post Resolve, even now?

The only symptom that I still have is a needle prick feeling on the spot of where I was infected with HSV2. When I was infected, I got two boils down south. When they healed, they left a scar. That scar has always had a needle prick feeling, which Resolve is claiming is nerve damage that will eventually heal on it's own. During my 90 day wait, I had the tingles. For more info on my symptoms, read my posts from when I was on Resolve.

7. Did you take a booster or extension from Resolve?

I still had the tingles when I finished Resolve, so I decided to take the 4 day extension. No booster.

I hope that this answered everyone's questions. My intentions are not to scare anyone, but I do want to mention one thing that I am not sure that I have stated before. Be aware that some people who never had any OB's before taking Resolve, now have OB's. A few people from the Hub have made this claim, and I wanted to mention this for those considering Resolve.

Again, this is my opinion... good luck to those who decide to take the Resolve path, and to those currently chugging those chlorine shots!!!

I am speachless...

Let me first start this Journal entry by saying "Thank You" to everyone who has sent me emails and comments to help lift my spirit. I have tried to remain positive about Resolve, and often fell down... but I got right back up, fighting.

This has been so hard for me. To go from a germ-a-phob, to someone who made a poor decision and became infected with HSV2, to someone who has been cured of Herpes... what a journey. I have been given a second chance.

For those out there who are currently on Resolve, on their 90 day post Resolve wait, or someone who is interested in Resolve, just have faith that it will work for you. Do your research and decide whether you want to do this or not. Based off what I know, Resolve seems to have better results for those who have not been infected long. I believe that our immune systems have a huge factor in whether you are cured or not. Whatever you decide, do not give up. Keep fighting!!! If Resolve does not work for you, do not give up.

I was sitting here thinking of some of the things that I have done that may have helped me beat this virus and came up with a few things.

1. Drink 60 ounces or more of water, per day. Flush that damn virus out!!!
2. I did a two week no sugar, no caffeine diet. I believe that this allowed my immune system to work harder at fighting the virus. The benefit from this is that I can now drink my coffee with no sugar. I use to be the girl who sat there for 20 seconds while the sugar escaped the glass container.
3. While on Resolve I stopped using deodorant. Trust me, you can do it too! I use to work out and smell so funky. LOL After Resolve released all of the toxins from my body, I just use an all natural deodorant. I no longer smell after a hard workout. This will also help women prevent breast cancer.
4. Exercise often. This will help you relieve some of the stress having Herpes has given you and also it will help your overall health, which in the end will allow you to fight the virus.
5. Try to remove yourself from extremely stressful situations. This is the key to your cure!!!
6. Do not think that every single bump or rash is a HSV OB. If you have followed my Journal, you will see that I did this a few times. I had an allergic reaction to Mango's, and of course I blamed it on HSV. Try to remain positive and fight the virus.
7. I recommend everyone take a multi vitamin and an immune builder. I also took a Pro Biotic. You can search my Journal for the brands that I used. I posted that info a while back.
8. Do not have sex!!! It does not matter if your using a condom... just stop it. I have not let anyone touch me down south since my Positive test results in October. I have messed around, but I never let anyone touch me. I am so glad this will now change. =)

If I can think of any other tips, I will post them. Also, as soon as I get a copy of my test results from my Gyno, I will scan them and post a copy.

Note, I am still waiting for my Western Blot test results. I am not sure what I would do if they come back Positive. I will remain Positive and go with the flo...

Adios... I am Negative!!!

I'M NEGATIVE!!!

OMFG... MY IgG HERPES SELECT ANTIBODY TEST CAME BACK NEGATIVE.... OMFG I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. MY IgG HERPES SELECT TEST CAME BACK < .90 NEGATIVE!!!

Blood Drawn... The Wait Begins

I took the Western Blot and the IgG tests today. The PCR via Blood came up Negative, so this is a good way to see whether the PCR is accurate or not.

My Gyno is still not sure how the PCR via Blood works, and says she has no clue how they could test for the virus through blood. She claims that the virus never enters the blood, even when it is shedding, so she does not understand how that test works, via Blood. If anyone has any accurate info on how the PCR via Blood detects HSV, please send me that info.

As soon as I hear something, whether good or bad, I will be posting my results.

For the person who asked me if they could email me, here is my email address:
fighter2312@gmail.com

If the two Antibody tests come back Positive, do I truly have HSV, or should I go by the PCR test, which supposedly detects the actual virus? When HSV is cured, what happens to the Antibodies? Do they really die off, or will they always remain in our bodies? I hate that I am relying on such tests to determine if I actually have the virus.

Wish me luck...

Western Blot and the IgG Tests Tomorrow...

I think I have caught someone's attention... LOL

Someone who works for my Gyno has called me twice since my results. I am so happy to find someone at my Gyno office who is interested in what I have been doing to cure my HSV2. I called my Gyno on Friday to see if she can change my test that I am taking tomorrow from the IgG test, to the Western Blot test. Someone from her office called me back today and we spoke for over an hour about Resolve and many other things. She even called me back a second time to ask me more questions. She said she was researching Resolve over the weekend, and was thinking about the tests that I have requested. She informed me that her office has never heard of the PCR via Blood, and also of the Western Bot test. She said that she was on the phone with Quest Lab and Lab Corp requesting info on the Western Blot. Lab Corp had no clue what the Western Blot was, and Quest stated that they would send the blood to the University of Washington, but it is not an FDA approved HSV test. I asked her if she could go ahead and do both the IgG test and the Western Blot test. I am going to have to pay for the Western Blot, but she claims that my insurance will cover the IgG test. That is perfectly fine with me. I want to know if I am truly H free or not, and if I am I have done the only 3 accurate tests out there to prove myself. So tomorrow I go and take an IgG test and a Western Blot test.

Just so everyone knows... once I get these results back, I will post all three tests online (PCR, IgG, and the Western Blot).

I am so nervous to get my results back. I have truly caught my Gyno offices eye, and I really hope that my results come back Negative so that they can see that there is a cure out there. I asked her what she will do if both tests come back Negative, and she said she is not sure, but she does hope that the press hears about Resolve so that others can be cured. She said she doesn't understand why if this is a real cure, it is not all over the news. I told her that the pharmaceutical companies would then lose alot of money on Valtrex prescriptions. She also keeps saying that maybe I had a False Positive. I am going to give her my tstd.org pin number to prove to her that I did in fact have HSV2. For those who do not know, I tested (IgG) after Step 1 of Resolve just to see where my numbers where, and also for a second validation that I truly do have HSV2.

That spot where I was infected with HSV2 had the needle prick this weekend so I thought I would see what would happen if I put some Vagisil on it, and it went away. Not sure what is going on, but it went away. My Gyno said if both test come back Negative that she is going to run some other tests to see if I have some bacteria thing going on.

Well, wish me luck. I have been chugging this water down, and my stomach looks like a balloon. Since these two tests are checking for HSV Antibodies, I am trying to flush any dead virus, or Antibodies that I can out of my system before my tests tomorrow.

I want to mention one more thing... today at work I was reading one of the Hubs and also my HSV Journal and I had a problem with my network connection. So the ITA guy came over to see what was going on and he opened my Firefox window and was looking at my history. I almost freaked out... I really hope that he did not see that because you could clearly see the Herpes in the address. It is kind of funny, but it is not funny if he goes and tells everyone. hmmmmm For all he knows I could have been surfing that site for a family member or a friend. errrrrrr

Off to Martial Arts class...

PCR TEST NEGATIVE!!!!!

I AM FREAKING OUT OVER HERE... MY PCR TEST CAME BACK:

NEGATIVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I HAD IT DONE THROUGH MY GYNO OFFICE AND SHE WAS SPEECHLESS. SHE NEVER HEARD OF RESOLVE AND SAID THE PCR TEST IS NOT ACCURATE UNLESS DONE THROUGH SPINAL FLUID. SHE REQUESTED THAT I GET THE iGg ANTIBODY TEST DONE ON TUESDAY. I GAVE HER THE RESOLVE SITE AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING AND SHE THEN CLAIMED THAT MAYBE I HAD A FALSE POSITIVE. I TOLD HER THAT I WENT THROUGH TSTD.ORG HALFWAY THROUGH MY RESOLVE DETOX AND I HAVE THE PIN TO PROVE THAT I DID IN FACT HAVE HERPES. SHE SAID THAT THE ANTIBODY TEST ON TUESDAY WILL BE FINAL PROOF.

I AM SHAKING OVER HERE BECAUSE I AM NOT SURE IF THE PCR VIA BLOOD IS AN ACCURATE TEST OR NOT. I WANT TO BE HAPPY, BUT I AM AFRAID MY IgG ANTIBODY TEST WILL COME BACK POSITIVE.

SORRY, I JUST REALIZED THAT I HAVE MY CAPS ON.

ANYWAY, MY PCR TEST RESULTS SHOW THAT I DO NOT HAVE HERPES ANYMORE... TIME TO GET DRUNK!!!

MAYBE THAT NEEDLE PRICK FEELING WHERE MY BOIL WAS TRULY IS NERVE DAMAGE. HMMMMM

I AM AT A LOSS OF WORDS RIGHT NOW... I WONDER IF THE PCR VIA BLOOD TEST IS REALLY AN ACCURATE WAY TO TEST FOR HERPES.

AM I REALLY HERPES FREE?
